That is the flying divot. And if you have played this game for any length of time, you have sent more than a few of them airborne.
Flying Divot Golf was born from that moment. Not the perfect shot. Not the hole in one. The divot. The honest, perhaps unglamorous, yet completely relatable proof that you showed up, took a swing, and gave it everything you had.

A golf divot is technically a patch of turf displaced by your club during a swing. We prefer to think of it as something more. An archaeological site quietly uncovering everything that happened between you, your club, and whatever you were thinking about on your backswing.
Every divot even has a name.
Each one a confession. Each one a clue about your angle, your impact, and your complicated relationship with par. Golf instructors will tell you that analyzing your divot is one of the best ways to improve your ball striking. Which means golfers have been crouching down, studying their game, and trying to figure it all out for as long as the game has been played.
